As part of the UK wide STEMNET Science and Engineering Ambassadors programme, STEM Scotland is pleased to welcome you to the website for Science and Engineering Ambassadors (SEAs) in Scotland.

STEM Scotland comprises of organisations representing geographical regions of Scotland to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths to school children. Science Connects, (formerly SETPOINT Scotland West), Global Science (formerly SETPOINT Scotland East) and Techfest-Setpoint (operating in the North of Scotland) are pleased to confirm that we have agreed new arrangements with STEMNET for the period 1 August 2008 to 31 March 2011, to be the STEMPOINT contract holders for Brokerage E&E (Engagement and Enrichment) activities and for the coordination of Science and Engineering Ambassadors Programme.

We are pleased to confirm that the people responsible for operating the contracts in Scotland have not changed although the names of organisations and some contact details have altered.

One of the main changes is that all new SEAs must now register online and all existing SEAs will soon be able to edit their own activity records and personal details online. Please refer to the Becoming a SEA page.

There will be a new website www.stemscotland.com launched in early September 2008 which will incorporate four areas for Scotland.

The STEMPOINT and SEAs management contract holder for Scotland West is now -
Science Connects.

The STEMPOINT and SEAs management contract holder for Scotland East is now -

The STEMPOINT and SEAs management contract holder for Scotland North East is now -

The STEMPOINT and SEAs management contract holder for Scotland Highlands
and Islands is now -
